WHAT IS PRODUCT CERTIFICATION?

The product has the certificate; indicates that the product conforms to the standards it adheres to and other international standards.

Accordingly, products produced in accordance with product certification conditions have no harm to human health and the environment.

The product certification service, known as the certificate of conformity to Turkish/International standards under market conditions, is provided within the scope of TS EN ISO / IEC 17065 within our laboratory within the accreditation rules (based on the products included in our scope). It is our source of pride that we are one of the few organizations that provide accredited services within the scope of our scope below, and we are the only one in some standards.

The product certificate obtained within the framework of the activities shown within the scope of accreditation enables the product to be opened to foreign markets easily. This is because a product with a certificate of conformity issued by an accredited conformity assessment body inspires confidence that it meets the requirements applicable to that product.

At the point of global acceptance of accredited services, question marks about the reliability of the accreditation service itself. Thanks to the trust mechanism among the accreditation organizations, IAF (International accreditation forum), ILAC (International laboratory accreditation association), EA (European accreditation union), etc., created by accreditation organizations. Thanks to the multilateral recognition agreements with international or regional organizations, this trust environment is established. Thus, the product can be used both in the domestic market and in the foreign market thanks to the accredited product certificate.

Within the scope of TS EN ISO / IEC 17065 standard, product certificate service is provided accredited within our laboratory. Our scope of product certificate is listed below.

For the product certificate, the product must first be included in a product group within our scope. Subsequently, the accredited type test report belonging to that product should be submitted. For the type test reports, all the products within our scope of TS EN ISO / IEC 17065 are also tested within the scope of TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard. In the product certification process, accordingly, an external accredited type test report or an accredited type test report taken in our laboratory is accepted, and the certification application is accepted for samples with positive report review.

How to apply for a Product Certificate?

The application is received as a result of the sample whose product tests and type tests are positive, are included in our TS EN ISO / IEC 17065 scope.

They can make the application by filling out the application form at www.lvt.com.tr by filling out our application form or by accessing the application form address. For companies that have completed the application process positively, it includes the initial test of the product and the periodic control that takes into account the evaluation of the quality systems of the product supplier and subsequent testing of the factory quality system, samples from the factory and the free market.

In order to maintain the validity of the companies that are entitled to obtain LVT Product Certificate, it is checked whether the company can produce the quality management system, production site, the ability to perform routine experiments (when applicable) and the certified product with the same features within the period of 11-13 months. With the positive results of these controls (Surveillance audit), LVT Product Certificate will continue to be valid.
