IEC 60068 Standard Series : Environmental Test
Today, there are various electronic devices that we use in daily life. It is necessary to observe the behavior of these electronic devices in seasonal conditions or in conditions where the working condition may be extreme. Tests in the IEC 60068 standard series simulate these conditions and describe the conditions under which the tests should take place during the evaluation of the operating performance of the devices under these conditions.

IEC 60068-2-1: Environmental testing - Part 2-1: Tests - Test A: Cold
Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is placed in the test cabinet (Cooling Cabinet) as in normal operating conditions. In accordance with the manufacturer's declaration, the test duration is performed by adjusting the test duration and intensity. Before and after the test, the working performance of the test sample is checked and the necessary data are recorded. Performance comparison is made with the end-of-test controls.
IEC 60068-2-2: Environmental testing - Part 2-2: Tests - Test B: Dry heat
Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is placed in the test cabinet (test oven or oven) as in normal operating conditions. In accordance with the manufacturer's declaration, the experimental process is carried out by adjusting the test duration and intensity. Before and after the test, the working performance of the test sample is checked and the necessary data are recorded. Performance comparison is made with the end-of-test controls.
IEC 60068-2-11: Basic environmental testing procedures - Part 2-11: Tests - Test Ka: Salt mist
Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is placed in the test cabinet specially produced for the salt fog test. It is kept in the test cabin for the specified period. At the end of the test, the test sample is checked by meeting the conditions specified by the standard. As a result of the checks, it is checked whether there is any corrosion in the test sample.
IEC 60068-2-14: Environmental testing - Part 2-14: Tests - Test N: Change of temperature
Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is taken in a hot test and then a cold test in accordance with the manufacturer's declaration. The required time during these transitions is determined by the manufacturer. The number of cycles, test times and severity levels are specified by the manufacturer to the institution that will conduct the test. The result of the test is determined by the controls performed before and after the test.
TS EN/IEC 60068-2-30: Environmental testing - Part 2-30: Tests - Test Db: Damp heat, cyclic (12 h + 12 h cycle)
Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is placed in the test cabin in accordance with the manufacturer's declaration. The test sample is kept in the test chamber for 2 cycles. At the end of the test, after the necessary controls, the result of the test is determined.

Within the scope of this standard, the test sample is placed in the test cabin in accordance with the manufacturer's declaration. During the test period, the test sample is kept in the test cabin. At the end of the test, after the necessary controls, the result of the test is determined.
