As LVT Test Laboratories, we have started to provide services to manufacturers operating in the electromechanical sector with the infrastructure works completed in 2006 and we have been accredited by TÜRKAK with the number of EU-0341-T in the middle of 2009 and every year it is oriented towards the needs of the sector. We continued to expand our scope with the investments made. Since 2011, we have started to offer solutions to our customers at EMC test and LVD test points, and we continue our investments on these aplications.
In our Electromechanical Power Laboratory, we provide services for type tests, R&D tests or acceptance tests for product groups that fall within the scope of many standards, especially low voltage panels, high voltage cells, high voltage breakers & disconnectors, empty enclosures and rack cabinets.
Short circuit tests in which the performance of the products performed according to the manufacturer's declaration are evaluated in case of malfunctions, temperature rise tests in which the design is verified in the working current of the declaration, dielectric test in which the adequacy of the insulation against high voltage is checked, controls and examinations in which structural controls are made, are the basic type tests of products belonging to the electromechanical sector. In line with the standards defined for each product, the tests to be applied are determined by taking into consideration the designs of the products.
Thanks to our wide scope, we can respond to EMC test requests from many different sectors, and offer solutions to manufacturers. In particular, medical device manufacturers, machine manufacturers, companies manufacturing for information technologies and electrical household equipment manufacturers can test their products with the LVT infrastructure and verify their competence in legal terms and standard requirements.
In EMC test applications, the signals emitted by the devices are analyzed both by air and by cable and evaluated according to the limits defined in the relevant product standards. In addition, devices are exposed to various signals and areas transmitted by air and cable, their performance is monitored in such interaction situations and their compliance with the criteria in the relevant product standards is recorded. Special instructions for the design are included in the relevant product standards.
LVD test and medical device tests carried out under the low voltage and medical device directives are applications carried out in order to verify against the risk of creating a danger to human and environment, in the most general definition. In LVD test applications, the products must meet the standard requirements they are subject to. Generally, normal operating temperatures, high voltage strengths, insulation properties, raw material properties, documentation controls, cabling and design review are the main points of LVD tests.
In these tests, the results directly depend on both the quality of the sub-components used and the design made by the manufacturer. Within the scope of these tests, the products are expected to meet many requirements not only in normal operation conditions but also in the conditions specified as 'single fault' in the standards. These single fault situations are completely dependent on the design; It includes many negative conditions such as closing ventilation openings, deactivating cooling devices, simulating insulation failures by test personnel, card / filter failures, rotor failures.
Our organization that provides laboratory services many domestic and foreign companies, provides reliability and international recognition and accreditation opportunities in Turkey and also lower the cost of testing by provind the opportunity to perform with KOSGEB supports.
The returns we received from the public and private sectors regarding the reliability of our service have been our biggest gain in this process.
We would like to inform you that we will continue our scope expansion studies in order to increase our service level in our current scope and in the subjects needed.
